This viewer cross-references the Just Above Midtown: Changing Spaces exhibition catalogue (MoMA, 2022) with the "5000 Artists Return to Artists Space" publication.
A vibeengineered project for my friend Leah Pires.
OCR was used to parse text; a horizontal timeline view offers both a timeline and a histogram of relevant artist appearances. Clicking on an artist's name will highlight all other occurrences of that artist in the timeline, and will also highlight the artist on the original book image.
Searching for any text is also possible, and will add another layer of representation to the timeline view.
